3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information.
• Use the platform only for lawful purposes.
• Not misuse, hack, or disrupt the service.
• Obtain consent before sharing another person's contact details for communication.

4. SMS Communications and Consent Policy

BreakdownTracker.com uses SMS messaging to provide real-time notifications related to breakdown reports, service updates, account activity, and other important communications. To comply with carrier and regulatory requirements, we require clear consent from all recipients before sending SMS messages.

4.1 Direct Consent

When you provide your own phone number on BreakdownTracker.com, you are giving consent to receive SMS notifications from us.

By submitting your phone number, you acknowledge that message and data rates may apply and that you may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message.

4.2 Adding Another Person's Number

Drivers may provide the phone number of their dispatcher, and dispatchers may provide the phone number of their drivers, for the purpose of enabling breakdown-related communications.

If you submit another person's phone number, that individual will receive a confirmation message asking them to reply YES to confirm or STOP to decline.

We will not send further SMS messages to that number unless the owner replies YES to the confirmation message.

4.3 Opt-Out and Revocation of Consent

Recipients may opt out at any time by replying STOP.

Once a recipient opts out, they will no longer receive SMS notifications unless they later re-confirm by providing their number again and replying YES to a confirmation message.

4.4 Recordkeeping

BreakdownTracker.com maintains records of all SMS opt-in and opt-out activity, including the time, date, and method of consent.

This ensures compliance with applicable laws and carrier requirements.

5. Payment and Billing

Certain features require payment. By using paid features, you agree to pay all fees as outlined in your subscription or service agreement.
